Our cupcakes are just the right size (3 or 4 bites), not a typical U.S. mini cupcake (one small bite), and not a standard U.S size (7 or 8 bites).
Do you do custom cupcakes or wedding cupcakes?
Yes, we do a lot of custom work. We love to create something special for your party or wedding. Come in and let us know what you want, what type of flavors you like, and what colors you want to use. Let us be our creative selves and do something magical for you.
Why does your frosting melt? I have gotten cupcakes or cakes from other places and I have not seen this?
Our frostings are made with real butter and cream cheese. Butter melting point is between 82.4 - 96.8 °F. For creme cheese, it melts even lower. So please remember this when picking up your cuppies, do not leave them in your hot car or they will not be pretty when you get them home. If you get a cupcake or cake that does not melt you should question what is in the frosting.
Why are your cupcakes $2 and I can get a dozen for $5 or $6 at the grocery store?
Our cupcakes cost more because they are all hand done one at a time, we use the best ingredients, no fillers, no preservatives, no additives. I have a great staff committed to making sure you get something that is better for you, tastes great, and looks amazing. I want to pay them a living wage and I will not scrimp on my ingredients. You may be able to find cupcakes cheaper but you will not find them better made with more care.
Is there a discount if I buy more than one or two dozen?
Our cupcakes are priced individually so there is no discount for large orders. Remember it takes us just as long to decorate the first cupcake as it does for us to decorate the 500th cupcake. We are not a large shop so we do not buy in bulk or get bulk discounts, therefore our prices do not change from one cupcake to the next, so we are unable to pass a large volume discount to our customers because we do not get one.
Do you make bright colors for your frostings?
No, we will dye sugars to match a bright color but not our frostings. I do not want to put that much food dye in our frostings, and I do not want you or your guests to have red or blue teeth after taking a bite.
